LOX-8 oxygen compatible thread sealants are used in
the waste water processing industry because they can
be used safely with chemicals in chlorinators, pumps and
valves. It is hydrophobic (water proof) and safe to use
where oxygen and aggressive chemicals such as chlorine
and powerful oxidizers are present. It is non corrosive and
nonmigrating (remains where it is applied).
